Established in 1931

We have been making pork pies since 1931 and our recipe is as mouthwatering now as it was back when master-baker Ken Parr opened his first pie shop in Nottingham, and passed down his legacy to the company that Pork Farms has become today.

We are immensely proud of our roots and our commitment to British pork. We will only use 100% succulent British pork in our pies, paired with the perfect amount of seasoning and of course all packaged up in the most delicious hot water crust pastry. We think they are the finest pies in the land, but we will let you be the judge of that.

Our story

The Pork Farms legacy started way back in 1931 when a local Nottinghamshire baker Ken Parr took out a loan to open his first bakery, and the rest as they say is history.

Ken’s pies became legendary and his original recipe is still used to inspire our Pork Farms bakeries today. It is Ken’s baking legacy that sees our master piemakers continue to produce the same high-quality, award-winning pies. We are proud to say that over 40 million are distributed throughout the UK every year, filling up the nation’s picnic hampers and lunch boxes – providing on-the-go snacks and giving mums and dads the perfect speedy dinner option for a busy school night.

We certainly are a pie-loving nation…
