Kim was nominated by Carmen Bateman for her work as being a driving force for The Saints Community Project at Brackley Town FC. Carmen said: “Local people are made to feel extremely welcome for free coffee, tea and cakes at the group which Kim runs with other volunteers. She is always bubbly and welcoming and really enhances people’s lives and definitely deserves rewarding for her selfless work and care.”
Friends, family and the team from Pork Farms gathered at Brackley FC to surprise Kim with an afternoon tea themed party.
Winner Kim said: “I’m really humbled that somebody nominated me for a competition. I love doing what I do and I’m very lucky that the football club allow me to do what I do and use their facilities.
“It first started with coffee mornings for anybody and it’s just grown ever since.
“It’s been really good to see everyone here, some of the original members as well as all my friends and family, it was lovely to have everyone together.”
