The next phase of our Hidden Gems campaign is now live and now we need you to get out and about this summer to discover our special regional shortlist favourites. Also TV personality and host of Place in the Sun, Laura Hamilton has a solution to get you and families out and about this summer, discovering the UK’s favourite Hidden Gems.
After teaming up with UK Tourist Boards across the country, Pork Farms, invited you, the great British public, to submit your favourite Hidden Gems from across the UK, that, while may be known to some, may be totally unknown to others; in turn inspiring your inner explorers. Along with the tourist boards, TV personality and host of Place in the Sun, Laura Hamilton has a solution to get you and families out and about this summer, discovering the UK’s favourite Hidden Gems.
She said: “This campaign is a fantastic way to get people out and about this summer. Everyone loves a vacation but why not indulge in a British staycation and explore the hidden gems that are, in some cases, right on your doorstep. What’s even better, is we’ve got a huge list of hidden hot-spots submitted by you, that now everyone can go out and explore!
“Sometimes, people forget to appreciate the scenic treasures right here in all corners of the UK, many of which are yet to be discovered. So swap flip flops for walking boots and snap a selfie at a secret waterfall, a hidden beach or even a forgotten castle, we are dying to see a gallery of would-be explorers! It’s so hard for me to choose my favourite hidden gem, there are just too many so now it’s time to hear all about your adventures.”
Now, the top five Hidden Gems from 10 regions up and down the country have been whittled down to form special regional short lists, and Pork Farms want families and would-be explorers to find them to be in with a chance of winning Pork Farms vouchers.
For some added inspiration take a look at our new Pork Farms TV adverts, some of you may have already spotted them during a break in one of your favourite shows, but for those of you who haven’t yet seen our British landmarks, take a look here
So what are you waiting for? Pack up a picnic (don’t forget your Pork Farms goodies!) and spend the summer discovering each Hidden Gem on the list.
