Here at Pork Farms we are returning to TV for the first time in over 10 years with a £1m investment in a new advertising campaign. The campaign will air across the UK from July 1st at peak times on ITV and Channel 4, with programming highlights including Coronation Street, Emmerdale and other family favourites.
We are thrilled to be launching the above-the-line TV campaign with a focus on popular British destinations. Our famous Pork Farms pork pie is featured at a typical Victorian seaside pier, Cumbria’s Wastwater, the White Cliffs and Hampshire’s Highclere Castle, better known as TV’s Downton Abbey.
Kim Burgess, Head of Markets for Pork Farms, said: “You know where you are with a Pork Farms pork pie, and at Pork Farms we are dedicated to producing traditional British pork pies.
With recent research* revealing that the Pork Farms pork pie is Britain’s favourite, we felt the locations of the Pork Farms campaign which are all well-loved British destinations were a perfect setting for the TV ads which celebrate a favourite British product, the Pork Farms pork pie.”
The TV advertising campaign also links to the Pork Farms ‘Hidden Gems’ PR and digital campaign, featuring unknown treasures alongside the well-known British destinations from the TV ads. Here, consumers are invited to submit their own ‘Hidden Gems’, revealing Britain’s top three secret locations which will feature in the 2017 Pork Farms marketing campaign.
